We began by collecting my son’s old story books together with some art materials and with donations from friends in Uganda and the US.

In Agnes’ words —
“Through the whole of this year, different children from the community have been coming to borrow a book for 3 days, sign and bring it back. And the results have been good. So far we have 4 children in primary who have been consistent, and you can tell they are really interested in reading, like they always look forward to coming for more books. Others are still new to this, we are encouraging them step by step. But I am happy children around now know about it.”

We are so grateful to our partners and donors for making this possible. God bless you as you bless these angels.

Our Story

From setting up a community that provides psychosocial support for parents and families of children with disabilities, we discovered another possibility… providing access to literacy and knowledge for children in these communities.

This is how the Vipepeo Mobile Library was born.

In collaboration with Kasese Restoration Centre, an organisation we partner with in our work, we have seen Agnes, its founder, travel to 3 districts taking these books with her to different villages.

Donate

Vipepeo Mobile Library brings books, literacy, and hope to children in underserved communities. Through your support, children gain access to storybooks, learning materials, and the joy of reading—many for the very first time.

You can make a difference by donating:

  • 📚 Children’s storybooks

  • ✏️ Art and learning materials

  • 💰 Financial support to help us reach more villages

Every contribution, big or small, helps us put a book into a child’s hands and open doors to knowledge and opportunity.

Donate today and be part of a child’s reading journey.
